There are pictographs on the canyon walls of my native Southwest left by early man as long as 8,000 years ago. Those patterns and textures arise from a man’s basic instinct to create visual records of his physical, spiritual, and emotional worlds. My photographs of faces, female beauty, and human activity are directly linked to ancient pictographs and show how little we’ve really changed in 8,000 years.

JTWDesign is a concept website designed as a platform to explore visual ideas, not as a commercial enterprise.

There's plenty of commerce to go around....

Photography Projects

The essence of this website. I use this online gallery to post related images in a single place. This helps me organize my thoughts, and to edit and sequence photographs into coherent collections. Those collections may be based on a narrative; they may be an exploration of color or pattern or photographic technique; they may be something else.

Multimedia Projects

On occasion I combine related photographs with audio into a slideshow presentation. The addition of audio and the slideshow format add unique elements to a narrative.
